San Leandro High School, Lincoln High School, and John Muir Middle School staff members will participate in Block Schedule Part 1: Introduction to Practical Teaching Strategies for Block Scheduling Classes. This workshop will focus on the following:
- New and cutting-edge ideas and activities to strengthen student learning within a block schedule
- Interactive strategies for actively involving students in extended class periods
- Ready-to-use activities and methods designed to develop higher-order thinking and problem solving skills, taking full advantage of longer class periods
